Since 1954

Corn was in the hands of the Guarani people long before it became a business. It was food, a sacred symbol and knowledge passed down through generations. The Jesuit Missions brought new tools, farming grew in scale and Santo Ângelo grew around the fields.

Fenamilho celebrates this cycle every two years. The fair is run by volunteers: more than a hundred people spend months working to bring farmers, companies, artists and the Missions community together in one place.
