Since 1954
Santo Ângelo has an event that is best understood by living it. Fenamilho brings agribusiness, Missions culture and entertainment together in one place, for ten days that move an entire region.
Made by volunteers
Fenamilho is run by volunteers. More than a hundred people, including business owners, farmers, teachers, artists and community leaders, spend months working to make it happen.
All of this work is voluntary, driven by a commitment to the city and the region. That is the strength of Fenamilho.

Corn as a symbol
For the Guarani peoples who lived on this land, avatí, the Guarani word for corn, was sacred: food for the soul, planted with prayers and harvested in celebration. Santo Ângelo stands on this ancestral ground.
Today the region is one of the largest soybean and corn producers in southern Brazil. Fenamilho was born to celebrate and strengthen this cycle, and it keeps doing so edition after edition.
